A Letter From Our Founder/CEO

Hi — I’m Michele, the inventor & daily user of MagSHOCK®.

I designed this chair because I couldn’t find one that met my own needs all-terrain, weatherproof, travel friendly or off-road hill climb. Most folding power wheelchairs on the market are built in factories that have never met an actual wheelchair user. So I built one that solves the things I knew were broken — a comfortable bump dampening magnesium mountain bike frame, a sealed electrical system, a battery that lives inside the frame instead of clipped to the outside, and all-terrain solid rubber tires that climb a 25° grade in pouring rain.

We’re in Austin, Texas. We answer our own phones. Many of us use MagSHOCK® ourselves. When you call us, you’re not talking to a call center — you’re talking to someone who knows the difference between living in a wheelchair and selling one.

Every MagSHOCK® that ships from our warehouse has my name on the patent. If anything ever goes wrong — at any point in the next three years & beyond — we’re here. That’s the promise.

One of our Team Members will Call you to confirm your shipping address, contact details before your MagSHOCK® ships to ensure everything is accurate.

Ships from Austin, TX

Your chair leaves our warehouse in Texas via UPS, fully assembled, batteries charged and ready to ride. You’ll get tracking number via email the moment it ships.

If the MagSHOCK® isn’t the right fit for you, you have 30 days from delivery to request a return. We want you in the right chair — even if it’s not ours. Here’s exactly how the return process works so there are no surprises:

What to Know Before You Return

✓ Original Packaging Required

Keep the original FOLD & GO box and white foam liner — we ship in custom packaging and need it back for safe transport.

✓ 10% restocking fee

An industry low restocking fee applies to all returned wheelchairs.

✓ Return Shipping & Handling: $200

$100 return shipping + $100 processing fee. We arrange UPS pickup at your door.

✓ Honest Condition Assessment

We inspect every return. Any damage, dents, or wear from your time with the chair is deducted from your refund.

What is Not eligible for return: chairs purchased through insurance, medical reimbursement, grants, or as gifts; chairs purchased for use as a 30-day rental; chairs with bent frames or modifications. Affirm financing returns have an additional $180 finance fee.
